The Level 2 course is for riders looking to improve their street riding skills. This course will provide advance techniques to improve your slow speed balance, maneuvering in tight turns, sudden stops and gain a deeper understanding of the physics of a motorcycle when cornering at higher speed. The course is designed to give you a deeper insight on how to work with the motorcycle, giving you the knowledge and skill set to be a safer, smoother rider.

PRS has motorcycles available for use at an additional $195 + GST per motorcycle.

Schedule:

Friday – Classroom 7:00pm – 10:00pm at PRS
Saturday – Practical riding 8:30am – 4:00pm (See locations above)

The 2 day course will incorporate:

  • Slow speed control
  • Steering control (staggered slaloms, 180, 360)
  • Body position
  • Counter-steering (50km/h+)
  • Emergency or sudden stops (50km/h+)
  • Trail braking (50km/h+)

Pre-requisites:

  • Class 6 or equivalent motorcycle licence
  • Minimum 1 year riding experience, or graduate of PRS MSA Course
  • Insured motorcycle. All brands of motorcycles are welcome!
  • Leather boots that offer ankle protection, motorcycle gloves, armoured pants/jacket, and minimum DOT full face helmet
  • Knee guards can be provided
