Location: Pacific Riding School (6788 152 St, Surrey)
The Level 2 course is for riders looking to improve their street riding skills. The 4 hour course will provide techniques to improve your slow speed balance, maneuvering in tight turns, sudden stops and gain a deeper understanding of the physics of a motorcycle when cornering at higher speed. The course is designed to give you a deeper insight on how to work with the motorcycle, giving you the knowledge and skill set to be a safer, smoother rider.
Scheduled days could be:
Monday (Statutory Holidays): 12:00 pm – 4:00 pm
Saturdays: 6:00 pm – 10:00 pm
Level 2-A will incorporate:
- Slow speed control
- Steering control (staggered slaloms, 180, 360)
Level 2-B will incorporate:
- Body position
- Counter-steering (50km/h+)
- Emergency or sudden stops (50km/h+)
- Trail braking (50km/h+)
Pre-requisites:
- Class 6 or equivalent motorcycle licence
- Minimum 1 year riding experience, or graduate of PRS MSA Course
- Insured motorcycle. All brands of motorcycles are welcome!
- Leather boots that offer ankle protection, motorcycle gloves, armoured pants/jacket, and minimum DOT full face helmet
- Knee guards can be provided
